How to Screen Cancer with Tyro-Screen
Requirement of Urine
- 2 mL fresh urine sample
- Room temperature is preferred
- Red or green urine is not acceptable
Method
Here are the steps to follow to take this test:
- Collect the test on an empty stomach and take a light diet a day before.
- Collect the very first fresh urine sample in a sterile plastic bottle in the morning. (collection is acceptable at any time during the day, but we recommend doing it first thing in the morning.)
- Open the provided ampule bottle with the plastic cap to avoid any cuts.
- Under normal temperature, mix the urine sample with the reagent; room temperature will be preferred.
- After mixing the fluids slightly, keep it for at least 5 minutes.
- Now compare the coloring of sediment using the color guide given.
Interpretation of Result
White/Pale Yellow: Negative (Healthy).
Light Red: Weakly Positive
(to be sure, the patient should avoid taking a high protein diet or drugs and retake the same test in 2-3 days. If the results are the same, then a doctor’s consultation is required).
Red: Positive

Brick Red: Strong Positive

If the results remain the same, then there is a strong presence of enzymes correlated to cancer. The patient should move forward with imaging diagnosis or other examinations).
